Hi, I'm Kristen.

Leadership Development Facilitator | Culture Builder | People-First Strategist

I am a tech sales leader with nearly two decades of experience at Google Canada. My career has spanned sales, strategy, operations, and culture-building— most recently, leading global teams through disruptive change. I’ve led transformational programs, invested deeply in coaching & mentorship and built trusted partnerships that empower individuals and teams to thrive.

My leadership philosophy is grounded in being BRAVE: Bold, Resilient, an Advocate for others, Vulnerable, and Empathetic. I believe that when people feel truly understood and have a sense of belonging, they’re more empowered to take risks and grow—allowing organizations to thrive. I bring that belief to every engagement, whether I’m facilitating a workshop, coaching a team, or designing a learning experience.

I’ve been trained in storytelling and presentation excellence through organizations like SNP, Kellogg, and Toastmasters, and have built deep facilitation experience through initiatives such as #IamRemarkable and PwC’s Women in Leadership program. Over the years, I’ve designed and led workshops for hundreds of professionals—both within Google and beyond—on topics ranging from inclusive leadership and personal branding to vision-setting and core values. My facilitation style is candid, empathetic and inclusive—blending strategic clarity with human-centered insight.

One of my proudest accomplishments is co-founding Google Canada’s LEAD program, an experiential leadership initiative for women. The impact has been profound—participants have described the experience as “transformative,” “life-changing,” and “a defining moment” in their personal and professional journeys. Many have shared how the program helped them find their voice, embrace their leadership potential, and navigate their careers with newfound clarity and confidence.

Through Unlock Leadership Collective, I am excited to help others design purposeful careers, lead with courage, and foster cultures where people feel seen, stretched, and supported.

I brings nearly 20 years of leadership experience and a passion for wholehearted living to every event I facilitate. I have deep roots in both the corporate world—including roles at Google and across startups and retail marketing—and 5+ years as a leadership coach (2 running my own business) I understands the delicate balance between professional ambition and finding your own authentic path.

As a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach, I have built my practice on the belief that your career doesn't exist in a vacuum. True growth happens when we address the whole person—your professional aspirations, personal values, relationships, and wellbeing as an interconnected system.

My approach to facilitation and coaching is deeply human: thoughtful, insightful, and always actionable. One of my super powers is helping people cut through the noise to enable them to find clarity on what truly matters, build unshakeable self-trust, and take bold action toward their vision. Whether you're navigating a career transition, overcoming imposter syndrome, or simply seeking more purpose and fulfillment, I prioritize the creation of a safe space for learning and transformation.

My workshop facilitation spans corporate clients including Pinterest, Google, and Cineplex Media, where I've led teams through signature experiences in values clarification, storytelling, and creating cultures of feedback. I honed my storytelling skills through years of pitching tough executives and SNP training. Now, I'm excited to bring this same depth and expertise to retreat settings, where the magic of extended time and intentional space allows for even deeper breakthroughs.

I don't aim to just guide you through exercises—I aim to walk alongside you as you discover your own answers, celebrate your wins, and navigate the inevitable challenges of growth. I am a big believer in FUN and Growth- both can happen at the same time. I am quick to laugh and I have genuine care for my clients and workshop participants. I am committed to creating the space at this retreat for meaningful connections and change and this drives all my content and creation within the retreat experience.

Originally from Winnipeg (Go Jets!) I live in the West End of Toronto with my husband, our two sons and our naughty pup Gemma
